The Black Sheep Cooking Club "Favorite Tools" Black Steel Pans

"Favorite Tools" are short demonstrations, to help you better equip your kitchen with the best tool for the job. In this video we show you the work horse of the professional kitchen, the black steel pan. I use them at home and prefer them to anything you will spend three to four times the amount for. You can get a much higher heat, and don't have to worry about; deglazing the pan with a cold liquid, throwing into a hot oven, or putting under a hot broiler, all of which can destroy those fancy layered things you get in high end kitchen shops.
